CBCA admits members through a selective application process.
We welcome applicant firms and practitioners whose seat, specialism, and practice profile make them a strong complement to our existing members.
Our admissions process is built around avoiding direct competition: a jurisdictional seat and a specialist area of expertise must both be available before a firm can apply, so that each new member strengthens — rather than duplicates — the alliance.
Who We Welcome
CBCA Membership is open to:
Independent firms and practitioners principally engaged in cross-border disputes, international arbitration, or complex commercial litigation
Lawyers in good professional standing, with no current disciplinary proceedings
Practitioners who regularly work across jurisdictions and collaborate naturally with foreign counsel
Firms able to refer matters to CBCA members and receive referrals professionally in return
Firms whose seat and specialism complement, rather than compete with, existing members
