Through years of working on multi-jurisdictional disputes and international arbitration, a group of practitioners built strong relationships with lawyers around the world who shared the same standards of responsiveness, specialism, and practical experience.
Over time, it became clear that while many legal networks existed, few were built specifically for firms and lawyers handling cross-border disputes, international arbitration, and complex commercial litigation. Existing options were often too broad, internally competitive, or insufficiently focused to support meaningful cross-jurisdictional collaboration.
What was missing was a membership model built around complementary practices, trusted referrals, and a shared culture of international problem-solving — structured so that no two members ever compete for the same work.
The CBCA was established to fill that gap.
It is a select network for independent firms and lawyers already engaged in international disputes work, offering a space to collaborate without direct competition, exchange insight, and build referral relationships grounded in trust.
